Terms

PromptMason is made by CRIS Advisory LLC ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the PromptMason desktop app or the PromptMason Chrome extension, you agree to these terms.

Using PromptMason

  • We give you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use PromptMason on computers you own or control.
  • The Free plan includes every feature, up to 25 library blocks and 15 prompts, counted across every library on your computer, including team libraries. PromptMason Pro removes those limits while your subscription is active.
  • When you download PromptMason, you give us your email address. No payment details are needed. PromptMason starts with 14 days of Pro, with no key. After 14 days, you move to the Free plan unless you buy Pro.
  • A Pro key, which you get when you buy Pro, is for one person and works on up to 3 of their own computers at a time. To use it on another computer, remove it from one you no longer use in Settings, then add it on the new one.
  • You may not resell or redistribute PromptMason, or share your license key with anyone else.

Your content

  • Your prompts, blocks and everything else you create belong to you. They are stored on your computer, and we can't see them. See the privacy page.
  • You are responsible for backing up your data. Export is available on every plan, at any time.
  • PromptMason doesn't send your prompts to any AI service. When you paste a prompt into an AI tool, that tool's own terms apply.

Pro subscriptions

  • Pro is sold through Polar, our merchant of record. Polar handles payment, sales tax and receipts, and Polar's buyer terms apply to the payment itself.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year, depending on the plan you choose, until you cancel.
  • You can cancel any time. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • When a subscription or the 14 days of Pro end, you move to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted. If your library is over the Free limits, it is paused: you can still view, search, archive, delete and export everything, but you can't create, edit or copy prompts until it is back within the limits or you subscribe again.
  • Refunds are covered on the refunds page.

No warranty

PromptMason is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

The help chat on promptmason.ai writes its answers with AI. They may be wrong, and they aren't professional advice. The guides and support@promptmason.ai are the authority.
