About this release

This release adds prompt sets: your prompts in order, one step after another, to copy as one or for your AI agent to run. Settings is easier to find your way around, with tabs and short explanations. Documents get a formatting bar, and Quick Launch on Home shows the tiles you choose. You can also import a Skill from a zip file, label the values in a variable’s list, and send support a diagnostics file. The full list is on the What’s new page.

Install or update

New to PromptMason? Click Download on the Download page, enter your email, and open the installer. Install, update and remove walks through the installer, the Windows warning and your first 14 days of Pro.

Already using it? PromptMason updates itself. When a new version has downloaded, a line across the top of the window says it is ready. Click Restart to update. To look right away, click Settings, then General, and click Check for updates under Updates. Your blocks, prompts, settings and license are kept.

What you need to do

• Before you update: nothing.
• After you update: if you use an AI agent with PromptMason, this update gives it new tools, for getting a Skill as a zip file and for reading, making and changing prompt sets, and lets it add or change the labels on a list’s values. It sees the labels straight away. To get the new tools and set labels in Claude Desktop, install the PromptMason extension again; restarting Claude is not enough. Restart Cursor or Claude Code. If an AI agent is still using the old tools, the bell in PromptMason tells you and takes you to the fix. See Connect an AI agent.
