# Troubleshooting and reference

*Fix common problems, look up a term, and find out how to get help.*

Online version: https://promptmason.ai/docs/troubleshooting-and-reference

This section is for when something goes wrong or you meet a word you don't know. It has three guides, and you can read them in any order.

- **Troubleshooting** collects common problems, grouped by where they happen: installing, saving and editing, prompts, AI features, connected apps, libraries and backups, moving to another PC, and your license. Each problem says what to do about it.
- **Glossary** explains the terms PromptMason uses, each in a line or two, with a link to the guide that covers it.
- **Get help** shows how to ask an AI assistant for step-by-step help, and what to include if you email support.

Every guide ends with a **Want a hand?** box. Click **Copy** in it, paste the result into an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT, and the assistant can walk you through that guide.

Start with [Troubleshooting](https://promptmason.ai/docs/troubleshooting). If your problem isn't there, or you don't recognize a word on the screen, try the [Glossary](https://promptmason.ai/docs/glossary). If you still need a person, email support@promptmason.ai; see [Get help](https://promptmason.ai/docs/get-help) for what to include.
